Information Evening for Humanities at UC

Interested in a Career in Humanities?

UC invites all Year 12 and 13 students to attend the humanities careers evening on Wednesday 23 October.

Pupils will have the chance to learn more about the University of Canterbury’s wide range of degree options in the humanities and engage with a variety of speakers who have gone on to use their humanities background in their careers.

Guest speakers will discuss their own career pathways, what they value about humanities, and what they have accomplished with their degrees.

Humanities can be a confusing area of interest for students as it includes such a diverse range of subjects. This evening is designed to highlight the ways humanities prepares students for their working life and the future work possibilities available to them.

If you are interested in art history, cinema studies, classics, history, cultural studies, digital humanities, english, philosophy, fine arts, or music, then it would be a great evening to attend.

This is a free event and pizza will be provided on the night.
